PING : Packet Internet Groper


Hello friends, I think you all are familiar with the  basic 'ping' command. If not, no need to worry, that's why I am here for.

Ping is windows console command used to test your network connectivity. It sends out ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) echo request and and listens to its reply to check physical or logical connectivity of  your internetwork.

Some Examples Of WMIC


WMIC stands for Windows Management Instrumentation Command Line. It is a tool assisting WMI. It is a resource which can be used to find out useful info about your system. You can search for aliases by typing '/?' .

Write 'wmic' on run command and press enter or write 'wmic' on console command. It gives a number of options when we type '/?' on wmic console.
